Funding for the contract is available in the Accumulative Capital Outlay Fund. No change in net County cost.
Background: This project includes the renovation of the basement area in Building A of the Government Center to accommodate the Sheriff and his immediate staff, a public information area, and conference room. In addition, the 300 Fair Lane facility will be remodeled to accommodate Patrol, Records, Livescan, and a public lobby area. Anova Architects is familar with the facility being remodeled and is uniquely qualified to provide design, project management and construction management services with minimal disruption of the Sheriff's operations. Additionally, Anova Architects will stage their work in conjunction with the Sheriff's employees redeployment to leased space.
Action to be taken following Board approval:Board Chairman to execute Agreement 648-S0810. Upon execution of Agreement General Services will complete the administrative processing of the contract.
