Fiscal Impact/Change to Net County Cost: NONE
Background: VitalChek has been used since 1997 for telephone/computer orders only. This contract would expand services to provide customers the option of paying with their credit or debit cards at the counter. VitalChek charges the customer a convenience fee. Ther is no cost to the County.
Reason for Recommendation: The Recorder-Clerk wishes to offer the public more options for payment of services.
Action to be taken following Board approval: Fully executed original agreements to be returned to the requesting department.
