Fiscal Impact/Change to Net County Cost: The cost to install stop signs at five (5) intersections is estimated at $2,500. Funding for the installation of signs is available in the fiscal year 2007/2008 Road Fund budget.

District/Supervisor: District 1/Supervisor Dupray, District 2/Supervisor Baumann, District 3/Supervisor Sweeney, District 4/Supervisor Briggs.

Reason for Recommendation: Resolution No. 245-81 established intersection stops pursuant to Section 10.08.010, of the El Dorado County Ordinance Code. On March 26, 2008, the Traffic Advisory Committee on the West Slope recommended the addition of the following five (5) intersection stop signs:

On Golden Center Drive (No. 1471) at its intersection with Golden Center Court, a private road, stopping the north and southbound lanes.

On Merrychase Drive (No. 334) at the most westerly driveway to the Camerado Springs Middle School at milepost 0.42 stopping the east and westbound lanes.

On Monte Verde Drive (No.2711) at its two (2) intersections with Concordia Drive (No. 2710) stopping the north and southbound lanes of Monte Verde Drive and the westbound lane of Concordia Drive.

On Palmer Drive (No. 424) at its intersection with Ponte Mornio Drive (No. 425), formerly named Gabbert Drive, stopping the east and westbound lanes.

On Powers Drive (No. 257) at its intersection with Glen Ridge Way (No. 1027)/Glen Ridge Court (No.1028) stopping the north and southbound lanes.
