Background:  El Dorado County receives funding for Alcohol and Drug Program (ADP) services from the State of California Department of Alcohol and Drug Programs via the multi-year Net Negotiated Amount (NNA) agreement.  This is a three-year agreement that is adjusted periodically based on the prior year El Dorado County ADP Cost Report.   This adjustment also reflects both a carry forward Federal funding from State ADP (SAPT Federal Block Grant money) and a decrease in State Medi-Cal funding from FY 07-08.

Reason for Recommendation:  Approval of this amendment will enable Public Health ADP to adjust funding of specified programs based on actual incoming grant revenue.

Action to be taken following Board approval:
1.   Chairman to sign three (3) copies of the amendment.
2.   Board Clerks Office to return all signed copies of amendment to Public Health.
3.    Public Health to return all signed copies to the State for final execution, and provide a fully executed amendment to the Board Clerk up on receipt.
