Background:  In September 2005, your Board approved Agreement #275-S0611 with Evan B. Sundby for pre and post employment "fitness for duty" psychological examinations for the Sheirff's Office for the period covering 12/7/2005 through 12/7/2007.

Reason for Recommendation:  The Agreement approved by your Board in September 2005, had a total compensation limit of $24,000.  Invoices totalling $900 for services performed during the contract period, but exceeding the compensation limit, have been presented to the Sheriff for payment.  Per County Counsel, your Board's approval is required to raise the level of compensation.

Action to be taken following Board approval:  The Chair will sign the Agreement;   Sheriff staff will present invoices from 11/20/07, 11/23/07 & 12/6/07 to the Auditor for payment.
