Public Health Department recommending Chairman be authorized to sign Amendment I to Agreement for Services 557-S0811 (686-PHD1107) with Progress House, Inc., establishing rates for specified services not included in the Standardized Rates adopted October 2, 2007 by the Board, to provide Collaborative Justice DUI Court Program services.

Background: Progress House provides Alcohol/Drug Treatment Services to County for clients who qualify to participate in the Collaborative Justice DUI Court Program. The original agreement for services signed by the Board on December 11, 2007, included the recently approved Standardized Rate Structure with detailed rates for payment of standard services. There are services that are performed through this Agreement that were not included in the rates adopted by the Board of Supervisors. Those services, such as payment for attendance at DUI Court sessions, will be added in this Amendment.
Reason for Recommendation: This Amendment reflects the addition of specified services and rates previously not included in the Standardized Rates adopted by the Board.
The fixed rates payable under this Agreement are as follows:
Attendance at DUI Collaborative Conference (1/2 hour) $13.33
Attendance at DUI Drug Court Session (1 hour) $26.67
Instant Drug Testing $25.00
ETG Alcohol Testing $40.00
Hair Strand Drug Test $95.00
