Fiscal Impact/Change to Net County Cost: Net County Cost savings of $140,038
Background: The board approved the recommendations for Title III funding and approved the budget transfer on April 1, 2008. The purpose of the budget transfer was to adjust the revenues to actuals, appropriate additional fund balance available and to shift funding that was not awarded to community wildfire prevention and planning projects through the RFP process to the Sheriff search and rescue program. The transfer was incomplete and could not be posted, making the attached transfer necessary.
