The Department of Human Services has advised General Services to extend the option for another year. Funds have been included in the Department of Human Services proposed budget for FY 2008-09.
Background: The Department of Human Services has had a Facility Use Agreement since 2006. The space consists of the building known as the Pollock Pines Recreation Building, related kitchen and adjacent parking facilities, and is used for the purpose of serving meals to the elderly each week from 10:00a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Reason for Recommendation: The Department of Human Services Senior Nutrition Program hase requested renewal of the facility agreement to continue providing services at that location.
Action to be taken following Board approval: Real Property Planning & Administration will sign and distribute renewal to Facility Use Agreement 740-00610.
