Fiscal Impact/Change to Net County Cost:
Sufficient funds are appropriated to provide for the proposed acquisition, including title and escrow fees of approximately $1,000. The title and escrow costs will be funded through the TIM fee program. There is no net cost to the County General Fund associated with this item.

Background:
The Durock Road/Business Drive Signalization Project #73354 (Project) will require the use of Shingle Lime Mine Road as a detour route at various times during the construction period. Fred W. Wilkinson and Roxana Hupcey are providing this temporary easement pursuant to a Road Improvement Agreement with KFRD Investments Inc., as revised and amended, for the Project.

Reason For Recommendation:
The land rights being conveyed are necessary for use as a detour during the construction of the Durock Road/Business Drive Signalization Project.

Action to be taken following Board approval:
1. Chairman of the Board to execute the Certificate of Acceptance associated with the Temporary Construction Easement.
2. Board Clerk to return all original executed documents to DOT R/W Unit for final processing.
