Title
Supervisor Briggs recommending the Board authorize the County Surveyor to issue an unconditional Certificate of Compliance on an improved parcel of land consisting of 42.64 acres (APN 090-060-18) owned by Dennis Stokes.
RECOMMENDED ACTION: Approve.
Body
Permit Process Ad Hoc Committee

The Parcel was created in 1966, when State Highway 50 was relocated to its present location.  The parcel is located South of Highway 50 and North of Motherlode Drive, lying Easterly of and adjacent to the Easterly boundary of the Townsite of Shingle Springs.

The home on the 42.64 acre parcel of land was built in the 1940's, where the Stokes family continues to reside.

This relocation of Highway 50, in 1966, effectively created two separate parcels; one 18 acre parcel North of the Highway, which has subsequently been sold and one 42.64 acre parcel South of the Highway.

Board Action:  Find that the 42.64 acre parcel, referenced as APN 090-060-18 was created by actions of the State of California, a public entity prior to March 4, 1972, and is entitled to an unconditional Certificate of Compliance and to authorize the County Surveyor to issue the unconditional Certificate of Compliance.

Action to be taken following Board approval:  The County Surveyor to issue an unconditional Certificate of Compliance and the property owners to pay the associated processing and recording fees.
