Development Services Department, Building Services Division, submitting three applications and recommending the Board appoint two Member-at-Large Alternates to the Building Industry Advisory Committee.

Background: On February 5, 2008, the Board of Supervisors adopted Resolution #25-2008 establishing the membership and setting forth the responsibilities of the Building Industry Advisory Committee (BIAC). On March 25, 2008, the Board reaffirmed and approved the current representatives on the Building Industry Advisory Committee and on April 22, 2008, the Board appointed the last "At-Large Member", leaving the Committee with two "At-Large Member" Alternate vacancies. Since that time, the Department has received three applications for the two vacancies.
Reason for Recommendation: The appointments will complete the formation of the BIAC.
Action to be taken following Board approval: Upon approval of the representatives, the Department will notify the applicants of the Board's decision.
