There is no fiscal impact associated with this Amendment I to AGMT #07-1588.
Background:
At the Board of Supervisors meeting on December 4, 2007, Agenda Item #9, your Board approved Agreement for Services #AGMT 07-1588 with William A. Reid dba William A. Reid, AIA, Architects (Reid) for the design and construction oversight of the Department of Transportation vehicle and equipment wash facility at the corporation yard on Headington Road. Reid has ceased doing business as a sole proprietor and is working for Stafford-King-Wiese Architects (Stafford). Reid has asked the County to accept an assignment of Agreement for Services #AGMT 07-1588 to Stafford and Stafford has agreed to the assignment. In a related Agenda Item, Legistar file number #08-1084, also on the Board of Supervisors agenda for August 12, 2008, your approval and authorization for the Chairman to sign the Assignment, Assumption and Consent of Agreement for Services AGMT #07-1588 to Stafford-King-Wiese Architects is requested.
Reason for Recommendation:
With the assignment of Agreement for Services AGMT # 07-1588 approved by your Board on this same date, Amendment I is now necessary to change the name of the project manager and Consultant's notices recipient and address.
