Fiscal Impact/Change to Net County Cost:  None - incoming funding.      
 
Background:    The original contract from First 5 El Dorado Children and Families Commission to El Dorado County occurred in FY 2004-05.   Subsequent contracts have been granted to provide continued funding to assist families with access to health insurance and health services for children ages 0-5 years.
 
Reason for Recommendation:    The services provided by this contract are consistent with the Health Access priority in the First 5 El Dorado Children and Families Commission's 2006-2011 strategic plan.
 
Action to be taken following Board approval:
·      Chairman to sign three (3) original Agreements.
·      Board Clerk's Office to return three (3) signed Agreements to Public Health.
·      Public Health to forward Agreements to First 5 El Dorado Children and Families Commission for signature.
·      Public Health to return one (1) fully executed Agreement to Board Clerk's office.
