The El Dorado County Sheriff's Department has requested Facilities and Fleet Services secure the second option on lease #123-L0511.  Funds to be budgeted by the El Dorado County Sheriff's Department in the FY08/09 budget to cover this expenditure.   
 
Background: The Sheriff's Department has occupied the 1004 square foot facility in El Dorado Hills since 2004.     
 
Reason for Recommendation:  This facility is currently the preferred location for Sheriff operations in El Dorado Hills.  One year option at $1,684.47 per month ($1.67 sq/ft) with annual adjustments thereafter, in an amount equal to two (2%) percent of the then current monthly rent amount.
Action to be taken following Board approval:  Upon approval by the Board, Facilities and Fleet Services will forward the official notification to the
Lessor.
