Fiscal Impact/Change to Net County Cost: funding is available within the current Capital Improvements Program budget for this project.
 
Background: The Board awarded the construction contract for the El Dorado Hills Senior Day Care Center remodel project to PBM Construction Inc. in the amount of $255,612.00 on January 8, 2008 Agenda item #11. Change Order #1 to Agreement 395-C0899  was signed by the Interim Director on April 17, 2008 for additional framing, footings and supports necessary for the project.
 
Reason for Recommendation: Key elements of Change Order #2 include labor and materials for painting of the administration walls and ceiling, repair of water damaged and dry rot areas, and excavation, removal and replacement of existing sewer pipe.
 
Action to be taken following Board approval: Facilities and Fleet Services Department will complete the administrative process of the Change Order.
