Fiscal Impact/Change to Net County Cost:  None The Department of Human Services has informed Facilities and Fleet Services Department that they have funds in their FY08/09 budget.

Background:  The Department of Human Services has leased this area since 1999 for the purpose of providing overflow parking and placement of two storage units.  In 2006, the lease agreement was replaced by a blanket purchase order.  Since that time, Procurement and Contracts has determined that a lease agreement is the more appropriate contract document to use for leasing this space.  The blanket purchase order had been canceled and the proposed lease agreement replaces it.

Reason for Recommendation: The Department of Human Services has expressed it desire to enter into this lease which provides a site for two storage containers to accommodate the departments storage needs and 34 overflow parking spaces for employees.

Action to be taken following Board approval: Upon approval by the Board, the clerk will forward the fully executed lease back to Facilities and Fleet Services Department for distribution.
