Background:

Reason for Recommendation:
Public utility and drainage easements shown on Ridgeview West Unit No. 1 final map recorded in Book I of Subdivision Maps at Page 52, were irrevocably offered in perpetuity to the County of El Dorado in September of 1999, and accepted by the Board of Supervisors in December of 1999.

An application has been submitted by Theodore J. Woodruff, owner of Lot 6, requesting that the County of El Dorado Board of Supervisors vacate a portion of the public utility and drainage easements that are situated along the southerly boundary line of Lot 6, identified as Assessor’s Parcel Number 120-600-06. Said easements are more particularly described in Exhibit A and depicted in Exhibit B of the attached Resolution.

The subject property is located on Via Fiori Court, east of the Sacramento-El Dorado County line, west of El Dorado Hills Boulevard and north of US Highway 50, in El Dorado Hills. Said action is necessary to accommodate construction of improvements on the subject lot.

All utility companies that could be impacted by this vacation have provided the Department of Transportation with written notification that they have no facilities within the subject areas and have no objection to the proposed abandonment. ...
