Background:

Reason for Recommendation:
The Department of Transportation has received an Irrevocable Offer of Dedication for road right of way, including the underlying fee, and public utilities easement, situated along the westerly boundary of a tract of land known as a portion of the SE ¼ Sec. 29 T10N R12E, also identified as Assessor’s Parcel Number 078-050-46, being more particularly described in Exhibit A and depicted in Exhibit B of the attached Resolution. Said dedication is being made by James W. Chaffrey and Lynn K. Chaffrey, and is necessary to meet the condition requirements of PD 07-0009, Z07-0013, and A07-0006. The subject property location lies along Pleasant Valley Road, east of the intersection of Newtown Road and Pleasant Valley Road, in the unincorporated area of Pleasant Valley.

The Department of Transportation’s staff has reviewed said offer and recommends that the Board adopt and authorize the Chairman to sign the Resolution accepting said offer for road right of way, including the underlying fee, and public utilities easement at this time. Authorization for recording of said offer is pursuant to Government Code Section 7050.
