Jim and Kristie Matteoni own two residential lots in Tahoma, and accepted allocations for both lots. They are requesting to continue the $1000 deposit paid for one of the allocations, and go to the bottom of the allocation list and will pay the $300 administration fee.
 
They were originally put on the waiting list on 11/6/07 for Assessor Parcel Number 015-253-26, and on 1/17/08 for  Assessor Parcel Number 015-314-27.  They were told the waiting list for allocation was about 3 to 5 years.  In September of this year, after only 10 months and 8 months respectively, they received  Allocation Assignment Notices for both lots.  
 
They are now requesting to continue the $1000 deposit for the allocation that will not be using this year.  The lot allocation will be returned to the County.  
 
The Matteonis will be going forward with the permit process for one of the two lots by the end of the year, and will be seeking an allocation for the other lot as it moves forward up the list.
 
Allocation not to be used in 2008/09:  EL-08-O-11 for APN# 015-314-27,  2nd Ave., Tahoma
  
 
RECOMMENDATION:  Board direct Building Department/Development Services, South Lake Tahoe, to allow the $1,000 deposit for EL-08-0-11, for APN# 015-314-27 to be continued with this lot and placed at the bottom of the allocation list; and require the $300 administration fee.
