Fiscal Impact/Change to Net County Cost: Total Agreement amount is for $743,075. The Center for Disease Control (CDC) Base Allocation includes $238,529, the CRI includes $100,000, the CDC (federal) Pandemic Influenza Funds includes $29,488, California (state) Pandemic Influenza Funds includes two months of funding for FY 07/08 for the amount of $27,451 and totals $170,791, and the HRSA allocation includes $204,267.

Background: CDHS has combined funding from three separate agreements into one comprehensive contract. Whereas, the County entered into 3 different contracts to receive HRSA, CRI, and Pandemic Influenza funding in FY 05/06, CDHS has simplified the process and reduced the paperwork required to receive these state and federal funds.

This Agreement provides for public health emergency preparedness funding from five different sources. Included in those sources is a CDC base allocation, a CRI allocation, state and federal pandemic influenza funds, and a HRSA allocation....
