Background: Due to the Animal Control Divisions's need to occupy temporary quarters for approximately 2 and 1/2 years, shelter for livestock is needed. The temporary West Slope Animal Shelter does not have the appropriate facilities to accomodate livestock.

Reason for Recommendation: The Grace Foundation of Northern California, a horse rescue non-profit organization, has the pastures, shelter facilities, and organization to provide shelter and care for the wide variety of livestock that Animal Control is responsible for.

Action to be taken following Board approval: Chair to sign three (3) copies of attached agreement; Board Clerk's Office to forward two (2) fully executed documents to Department; Department to distribute copies to vendor and other appropriate parties.
