Fiscal Impact/Change to Net County Cost: Appropriations have been included in the proposed FY 07/08 budget. There is no net County cost.
Background: Public Health maintains an agreement with Womenspace Unlimited to provide services for El Dorado County victims of domestic violence. The attached agreement renews the provision of these services for another full year and is funded by County marriage license tax revenues specifically designated to be used to support domestic violence programs and shelters.
This agreement is retroactive to July 1, 2007 due to the need for unexpected revisions to the contract, which required additional time for processing and review.
Action to be taken following Board approval: Chair to sign three (3) copies of the attached agreement; Board Clerk's Office to return two (2) fully executed copies of agreement to Public Health; Department to distribute as appropriate.
