Fiscal Impact/Change to Net County Cost:

Funding is provided through the 2004 General Plan Traffic Impact Mitigation Fee Program. The Department has sufficient revenues budgeted in this account to fund this Agreement. There is no cost to the County General Fund associated with this agenda item.

Reason for Recommendation:

The Cameron Park Drive Interchange area is currently experiencing heavy congestion that is expected to increase in the years ahead. Current service levels on Cameron Park Drive between Robin Lane and Coach Lane are running at Level of Service "F" and the 2004 General Plan calls for Cameron Park Drive to be widened from two to four lanes from U.S. Highway 50 to Oxford Road, potentially exacerbating congestion levels to the Interchange.
