Fiscal Impact/Change to Net County Cost: Appropriations have been included in the proposed FY 07/08 budget. There is no net County cost.
Background: Public Health maintains an agreement with the El Dorado Women's Center to provide services for El Dorado County victims of domestic violence. The Board approved the continuation of those services when it executed a new contract at its regular meeting on June 26, 2007. That agreement renewed the provision of services for another full year and is funded by County marriage license tax revenues specifically designated to be used to support domestic violence programs and shelters. This amendment modifies the contract amount to account for changes in a mutually agreed upon revenue sharing of collected marriage license fees between the El Dorado Women's Center and the South Lake Tahoe Women's Center. The share of collected fees for the El Dorado Women's Center was reduced from 60% to 50%, while the share of collected fees for the South Lake Tahoe Women's Center was increased from 40% to 50%.
Action to be taken following Board approval: Chair to sign three (3) copies of the attached amendment; Board Clerk's Office to return two (2) fully executed copies of amendment to Public Health; Department to distribute as appropriate.
