There is no Net County Cost associated with these Agreements. Sufficient appropriations were included in the Fiscal Year (FY) 2012-13 budget.

Background
Agreement 184-S1110 with BHC Heritage Oaks, Inc. was approved and executed by the Purchasing Agent on May 25, 2011 for the provision of inpatient mental health treatment services with a maximum obligation of $58,500, for the term of July 1, 2010 through June 30, 2013. In July 2012 it became apparent that usage of the facility was higher than anticipated and Amendment I was developed to increase the compensation of the Agreement to ensure continued availability of services through the term of the Agreement, which ends June 30, 2013. Incidental revisions were also made in Amendment I to update contact information and modify Exhibit B to incorporate Psychiatric Professional Fees into the Inpatient Hospital Rates charged by the Contractor.

Amendment I was submitted to the Contractor for execution in August 2012; however, Contractor's corporate counsel held the Amendment until January 2013 at which time it was approved, returned to and executed by Contractor, and returned to the Health and Human Services Agency, Mental Hea...
