2) $400 from Kristi Wyles, Pollock Pines resident for the repair of a park bench located along the Class I El Dorado Trail; and
3) $400 from Jacqueline Conway, a member of a local Placerville family for the repair of a park bench located along the Class I El Dorado Trail.

Chief Administrative Office, Parks and Trails Division, recommending the Board accept the following monetary donations
1) $750 from Claire Inzano, Coloma-Lotus resident for the purchase and installation of a park bench at Henningsen Lotus Park; and

DISCUSSION / BACKGROUND
The Parks Division was contacted by Claire Inzano, Kristi Wyles and Jacqueline Conway with requests to either donate a park bench or repair an existing park bench. The new park bench would be installed at Henningsen Lotus Park in the Coloma-Lotus Valley and the repaired benches are along the Class I El Dorado Trail east of the Jacquier Rd trailhead. Staff provided costs associated with the purchase and installation of the bench as well as the cost of the materials and labor to replace the boards on the existing benches. Those costs were as follows:

3 hrs of Facilities staff labor at $75.00/hr $225.00
Concrete $ 40.00
Total $750.00
Replacement of Boards on existing twp benches
Lumber, Hardware $500.00
4 hrs of Facilities staff labor at $75.00/hr $300.00

Staff has completed a draft donation policy to accept donations such as these and will present it to the Board for consideration at a later date.

OTHER DEPARTMENT / AGENCY INVOLVEMENT
Chief Administrative Office, Facilities Division, will order and install the park bench at the site, pre-determined by staff, within Henningsen Lotus Park. Facilities Division staff will also, install replacement boards on existing benches located along the El Dorado Trail.

Parks and Trails is a division of the Chief Administrative Office, and the Office concurs with staff's recommendation.
FINANCIAL IMPACT
There is no change to Net County Cost. The costs associated with the purchase, installation and repair of the park bench were donated by Claire Inzano, Kristi Wyles and Jacqueline Conway.
