Approve and authorize the Chair to sign a Proclamation in recognition and appreciation of Fred Sanford’s twenty-six years of dedication to public service in El Dorado County and the field of environmental health.
DISCUSSION / BACKGROUND
Proclamation to recognize Fred Sanford's twenty-six years of public service in the field of environmental health, starting with the County in 1977 up until he left the County in 1990 to become an exotic animal trainer for Marine World Africa USA, then returning to the County in 2003.
Fred Sanford retired on December 31, 2016, dedicating the majority of his career to the protection, preservation, and enhancement of public health, safety, and the environment to benefit El Dorado County residents and visitors. The Community Development Agency, Environmental Management Division, would like to recognize Fred Sanford for his many years of outstanding public service to the County and his valued contributions and dedication to our community.
