DEPARTMENT RECOMMENDATION
The Chief Administrative Office, Parks Division, recommends the Board consider authorizing the Department to enter into negotiations with Mr. Wayne Miles, the owner of parcel 327-180-83-100 located at 4013 Forni Road, Placerville, California as a possible property donation to El Dorado County of 0.73 undeveloped acres; and appoint Russ Fackrell as the real estate negotiator on behalf of the County for the negotiation.

DISCUSSION / BACKGROUND
Mr. Wayne Miles contacted the County regarding a possible property donation of parcel 327-180-83-100, located at 4013 Forni Road, Placerville California. This property is undeveloped and adjacent to the Sacramento Placerville Transportation Corridor (SPTC). Staff viewed the property and felt a restroom and possible bicycle pump track could be placed on the site, which would enhance the already existing natural trail in the corridor. Mr. Miles requested that should the County accept the donation, the County would install a bench at the site to be dedicated in honor of his parents. This donation proposal was presented to the Parks and Recreation Commission on November 17, 2016 and the Commission voted unanimously to accept the donation and support the potential project.
