DEPARTMENT RECOMMENDATION
Child Support Services recommends the Board receive and file a presentation on Child Support Awareness and issue the proclamation designating August 2017 as Child Support Awareness Month in the County of El Dorado.
DISCUSSION / BACKGROUND
Nationally, August is recognized as Child Support Awareness month. The Department submits a proclamation to the Board each year, allowing an opportunity for the Board, as well as the members of the public, to acknowledge the importance of this program in our community.

The Board could choose to not approve and authorize the Proclamation.

CLERK OF THE BOARD FOLLOW UP ACTIONS
1) Clerk of the Board to have Chair sign one (1) original "Child Support Awareness Month Proclamation", and
2) Clerk of the Board to return one signed original Proclamation to Child Support Services.
