The Registrar of Voters recommends the Board recognize September 26, 2017 as National Voter Registration Day, with a goal to generate interest in the community of potential voters and encourage every voter to cast their vote on Election Day.
DISCUSSION / BACKGROUND
Americans will celebrate National Voter Registration Day on September 26, 2017. Many Americans miss the opportunity to vote because they are not registered by the deadline. October 23, 2017 is the deadline to register for the Consolidated Districts Election to be held on November 7, 2017. Encourage your neighbors and friends to register to vote and participate in the democratic process.
