Fiscal Impact/Change to Net County Cost: The cost of installation of the speed restriction signs along sections of South Shingle Road is estimated at $600 and is available in the fiscal year 2011/2012 Road Fund budget.
 
Reason for Recommendation: To sanction the revision to Resolution No. 247-81, which established speed restrictions pursuant to Section 10.08.020 of the El Dorado County Ordinance Code, as approved by the Traffic Advisory Committee, August 24, 2011.
 
Specific Sites:
 
Amend: "(at) South Shingle Road (No.17) forty-five (45) miles per hour from Mother Lode Drive (No.240) to a point 1.75 1.81 miles south of Mother Lode Drive."
 
Action to be taken following Board approval:
1. Clerk of the Board will obtain the Chair's signature on the Resolution.
2. Clerk of the Board will forward a copy of the Resolution to the Department.
3. The Department of Transportation will install, relocate and remove appropriate speed restriction signs.
