Fiscal Impact/Change to Net County Cost:

Installation of the “PARKING RESTRICTION” signs along sections of Pendleton Drive is estimated at $500.00 and is available in the Department of Transportation’s Road Maintenance Budget funded by the Road Fund. The installation of the "PARKING RESTRICTION" signs at commercial driveways as designated by the Department of Transportation is estimated at $100.00 per driveway and is available in the Department of Transportation's Road Maintenance Budget funded by the Road Fund.

Reason for Recommendation:

To sanction the revision to Resolution No. 252-81, which establishes parking restrictions pursuant to Section 10.12.010, of the El Dorado County Ordinance Code, as approved by the Traffic Advisory Committee.

Specific Sites:

1. "No Stopping School Days 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM" along the west side of Pendleton Drive (No. 278) from Francisco Drive (No. 2161) to Starmount Way (No. 279).

2. "No Parking" signs as deemed necessary for public safety by the Department of Transportation at commercial driveways entering onto any County Maintained roadway."

Action to be taken following Board approval:

Installation of appropriate parking restriction signs by the Department of Transportation.
