Reason for Recommendation:
The Department of Transportation has received an Irrevocable Offer of Dedication for road right of way and public utilities easements along the entire frontage of Pondorado Road in fee and the westerly property line of said property known as Golden Chain Drive, for the subject property identified as Assessor’s Parcel Number 048-471-28, being more particularly described in Exhibits A-1 and A-2, and depicted in Exhibits B-1 and B-2, attached to the Irrevocable Offer of Dedication. Said dedication is being made by Nikolay Demidoff and Susanne M. Demidoff, and is necessary to meet a condition of approval for Design Review DR05-0024. The project is for the construction of a two-story 3,064 square-foot banquet/office/storage facility, and a two-story 1,200 square foot caretaker/laundry/restroom facility with related parking and access improvements. The subject property location lies south of Highway 50 and abuts Pondorado Road in the Camino area.

The Department of Transportation’s staff has reviewed said offers and recommends that the Board adopt and authorize the Chairman to sign the Resolution acknowledging but rejecting said offers at this time. Authorization for recording of said offers are pursuant to Government Code Section 7050.
