Reason for Recommendation:
A public utilities easement, as shown on the Record of Survey for a boundary line adjustment recorded in Book 29 of Surveys Page 55 affecting a portion of Cameron Woods Unit No. 8, Lot 232 Final Map recorded in Book J of Maps at Page 25, was irrevocably offered in perpetuity to the County of El Dorado and accepted by the Board of Supervisors in May of 2004.

An application has been submitted by Darol B. Rasmussen, Trustee of the Rasmussen Family Trust dated 8/30/98, requesting that the County of El Dorado Board of Supervisors vacate the public utilities easement located on the northerly property line of Lot 232, identified as Assessor’s Parcel Number 070-470-24. Said easement is more particularly described in Exhibit “A” and depicted in Exhibit “B” of the attached Resolution.

The subject property is located at 2066 Riesling Way, connecting north of Mira Loma Drive in the Cameron Park area. Said action is necessary to accommodate construction of improvements on the subject lot.

All utility companies that could be impacted by this vacation have provided the Department of Transportation with written notification that they have no facilities within the subject areas and have no objection to the proposed abandonment. All other existing easements w...
