Background:
At a regular meeting held Tuesday, February 27, 2007, the Board adopted a Resolution of Intention setting a public hearing for March 20, 2007 at 9:00 a.m. in the Board of Supervisors meeting room to consider changing the name of a portion of County Road No. 4, Bass Lake Road to Sienna Ridge Road. The County Surveyor's Office recommends that the Board of Supervisors adopt the following resolution to change the road name.
Reason for Recommendation: Serrano Associates, the petitioners and owners of a proposed retail center (Village J5) are requesting a rename for the segment of the old alignment of Bass Lake Road. The Fire Department and Post Office have both reviewed and approved this road name change.
Action to be taken following Board approval:
The petitioners of the project shall install the appropriate street signs.
