Reason for Recommendation:
Public utilities easements, as shown on Village "H" Unit No. 6B, final map recorded in Book I of Subdivision Maps at Page 78, were irrevocably offered in perpetuity to the County of El Dorado in August of 2000 and accepted by the Board of Supervisors in September of 2000.

An application has been submitted by Akbar Shakernia, requesting that the County of El Dorado Board of Supervisors vacate public utilities easements located on the side and rear boundary lines of Lot 137, identified as Assessor’s Parcel Number 123-200-14. Said easement is more particularly described in Exhibit “A” and depicted in Exhibit “B” of the attached Resolution.

The subject property is located on Breese Circle, east of Silva Valley Parkway and south of Green Valley Road, in El Dorado Hills. Said action is necessary to accommodate construction of improvements on the subject lot.

All utility companies that could be impacted by this vacation have provided the Department of Transportation with written notification that they have no facilities within the subject areas and have no objection to the proposed abandonment. All other existing easements will remain. The Department of Transportation’s staff has reviewed the request and has no objection.
