Title: Environmental Management Department recommending Resolution 211-2007 authorizing the submittal of an application to the California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection for a California Clean Water, Clean Air, Safe Neighborhood Parks, and Coastal Protection Act of 2002 Grant to assist with the Angora Fire Hazardous Tree and Vegetation Identification and Removal Project, subject to County Counsel and Risk Management approval; and recommending the Director of said Department, or his/her designee, be authorized and empowered to execute all necessary documents including but not limited to, applications and payment requests to secure grants funds and to implement and carry out the purposes specified in said grant. FUNDING: State grant funding.

Environmental Management Department has been advised by the State of California, Department of Forestry and Fire Protection of grant funding available through the California Clean Water, Clean Air, Safe Neighborhood Parks, and Coastal Protection Act of 2002 Grant to assist with the Angora Fire Hazardous Tree and Vegetation Identification and Removal Project.
 
Action to be taken following Board approval:  
Chairman to sign resolution and grant documents, subject to County Counsel and Risk Management approval, and forward to the Department for further processing.
