DISCUSSION / BACKGROUND

The District Attorney has received grant funding from the California Office of Emergency Services (CalOES) Victim/Witness Assistance Program Fund to build a Victim Witness application for an existing software program.  CalOES funding may be used to pay contractor expenses up to $650/day through the September 30, 2017 grant deadline.  Any expenses incurred that exceed the daily maximum or extend beyond the grant deadline will be paid using Department of Justice Asset Forfeiture funds.

Amendment II to Agreement 521-S1710 authorizes the contractor to perform Key Deliverable 13 - Quality control, Modifications and User Feedback to the victim witness module.  The contractor will perform quality control on the software application and make minor modifications based on user feedback.  Amendment II increases compensation by $4,000 for a total compensation of $72,000.
