Recorder-Clerk-Registrar of Voters recommending the Board consider the following:
1) Approve and authorize the Chair to sign Resolution 002-2018 and Certification for a Grant Fund Agreement of $20,000 from date of execution through June 30, 2019, available under the Help America Vote Act Polling Place Accessibility Training program; and
2) Authorize the Recorder-Clerk-Registrar of Voters to execute Grant Funding Agreement 17G26109.

DISCUSSION / BACKGROUND
The Secretary of State through the U.S. Elections Administration Commission has made $20,000 available of the Help America Vote Act (HAVA) grant reimbursement funds to implement the HAVA Secton 261 requirements to the Elections Department.
The Elections Department will use reimbursment funds for attendance to the Secretary of State training, survey polling places to be used in the 2018 Election cycle to ensure accessibility, purchase equipment and or programs to ensure accessibility.
