DEPARTMENT RECOMMENDATION
Chief Administrative Office, Parks and Trails Division, recommends the Board accept the monetary donation from a private donor towards the purchase and installation of a park bench to be located along the El Dorado Trail.
DISCUSSION / BACKGROUND
The Parks and Trails Division was approached by Diane Coderc with a request to donate a park bench to be installed along the El Dorado Trail. Staff provided costs associated with the purchase and installation of the bench. Those costs are as follows:
Park Bench $195.00
Shipping $75.00
Labor to install $150.00
Concrete $20.00

Chief Administrative Office, Facilities Division will order and install the park bench at a site, pre-determined by staff, along the El Dorado Trail.

FINANCIAL IMPACT
There is no change to Net County Cost. The costs associated with the purchase and installation of the park bench are donated by Diane Couderc, resident of the unincorporated community of El Dorado, California.
