Fiscal Impact/Change to Net County Cost: Funding is available within the current Capital Improvement Program budget for this project.
 
Background:  The Board awarded the construction contract for the Cameron Park Courthouse ADR Modular Building - Sitework project to R. T. English Construction Inc. in the amount of $218,709.00 on January 29, 2008, Agenda item #7. Change Order 1 as  approved by  the Board on July 1, 2008, Agenda item 19, increased the contract amount by $13,591.84 and the contract term by ninety (90) days. The elements of Change Order 1 included changing the size and number of conduits due to gate relocation, with additional paving and concrete work in the parking and crosswalk area.
 
Reason for Recommendation: Key elements of Change Order 02 include additional curbs and concrete walks, relocation of existing circuit breaker serving fire alarm, deletion of Aiphone, fire sprinklers and miscellaneous conduits and wiring within the building, along with increasing the contract term by thirty (30) days.
 
Action to be taken following Board approval: General Services will complete the administrative process of the Change Order.
