Fiscal Impact/Change to Net County Cost:
The U.S. Hwy. 50/Missouri Flat Road Interchange Improvement Project #71336, Phase 1B, is funded with TIM funds and sufficient funds are in the project budget for the subject acquisitions, including acquisition costs of $29,100.00 plus title and escrow fees in the amount of $3,000.00 for a total of $32,100.00.

There is no net cost to the County General Fund associated with this agenda item.

Background:
The U.S. Hwy. 50/Missouri Flat Rd. Interchange Improvement Project #71336, Phase 1B, requires portions of the subject property be acquired for right of way purposes including fee and a temporary construction easement, in order to accommodate the widening and construction improvements to Veteran's (Weber Creek) Bridge on U.S. Hwy. 50.

On April 29, 2008, your Board authorized DOT's Right of Way Unit staff to proceed with final negotiations to acquire the land rights from the subject property owners.
