Fiscal Impact/Change to Net County Cost: Funding is available in the Accumulative Capital Outlay Fund.
 
Background: On April 1, 2008, Agenda item #45, your Board approved Agreement 648-S0810 with Anova Architects to provide professional design, project management and construction management services for the remodel and alterations to the El Dorado County Sheriff's 300 Fair Lane Facility and the basement of Building A in the Government Center.
 
Reason for Recommendation: General Services and Sheriff's staff recommends the following renovations to include the addition of a captain's office and exit corridor in CSO (RM 110); reorientation of the reception area and to the lobby and demolition of existing office, as well as, remodeling the women's locker room, in order to bring into ADA compliance.
 
Action to be taken following Board approval: The Chairman to sign Amendment I to Agreement 648-S0810. Board Clerk will forward the Amendment to General Services contract staff for further processing.
