Reason for Recommendation:
Resolution No. 247-81 established speed restrictions pursuant to Section 10.08.020 of the El Dorado County Ordinance Code. Approval of the attached resolution by the Board of Supervisors amends Resolution No. 247-81 to include revisions recommended by the West Slope Traffic Advisory Committee on November 19, 2008.
Specific Sites: The revisions at the specific sites listed below are to be carried out in accordance with the attached Resolution.
Increase of speed limit on Brittany Way (No. 2709) to thirty (30) miles per hour for the entire length of the roadway.
Amend speed limits on Mother Lode Drive (No. 200) to Missouri Flat Road (No. 9), Pleasant Valley Road (No. 77) to Bucks Bar Road (No. 99), Serrano Parkway (No. 2344) to Bass Lake Road (No. 4), Silva Valley Parkway (No. 2347) to Green Valley Road (No. 2), and Wentworth Springs Road (No. 63) to Milepost 0.82.
