Background: The Environmental Management Department has requested revisions to the current classification specification for Supervising Hazardous Materials Specialist.
Reason for Recommendation: It is necessary to review and modify classification specifications in order to maintain the County's classification plan. After reviewing this classification specification, it is necessary to make changes. The proposed revisions update the classification specifications to reflect the current duties, requirements, etc. of the classification.
Action to be taken following Board approval: The Human Resources Department will update the classification file for this classification specification.
