Title

Supervisor Ranalli recommending the Board authorize the Chair to sign a Certificate of Commendation to recognize and congratulate Danny Sewell for attaining the rank of Eagle Scout.

Body

Danny Sewell is a member of Boy Scout Troop 959 who has successfully attained the rank of Eagle Scout.   To attain this rank, a Boy Scout must fulfill requirements in the areas of leadership, service, and outdoor skills.  These requirements include the successful completion of an Eagle Scout Service Project.  The Eagle Scout Service Project, aka "Eagle Scout Project," is the opportunity for a Boy Scout to demonstrate leadership of others while performing a project for the benefit of his community.  This is the culmination of the Scout's leadership training, and it requires a significant effort on his part.

For his Eagle Scout Project, Danny Sewell planned, organized and helped rebuild the fence at the Greenwood Cemetery.  It took 27 people from the community approximately 150 hours to complete the project. Divide Supply donated a lot of the materials, and local people donated money to complete the project.
