Background: The Office of the Chief Administrative Officer has requested and reviewed the proposed revisions to the current classification specification for Director of Human Resources.
 
Reason for Recommendation:  It is necessary to review and modify classification specifications to maintain the County's classification plan.  After reviewing this classification specification, it is necessary to make changes.  The proposed revisions update the classification specification to reflect current duties, requirements, etc. of the classification.
 
Action to be taken following Board approval:  The Human Resources Department will update the classification file for this classification specification.
