Body

DISCUSSION / BACKGROUND

At their meeting of March 23, 2018, El Dorado County Department Heads determined that one means of supporting county-wide elections is to require Department Heads and Unrepresented Management employees to work at least one day during each election cycle.  A memo from the Chief Administrative Officer to all members of the Board dated March 28, 2018 (Attachment C) provides additional information.

The Elections Department has confirmed that they have sufficient resources in this regard for the June 5, 2018 election.

ALTERNATIVES

The Board may choose not to adopt the Resolution and direct staff to take other action.

FINANCIAL IMPACT
