Body
Fiscal Impact/Change to Net County Cost:
There is no net cost to the County General Fund associated with this agenda item.

Reason for Recommendation:
On January 2, 2007, Centex Homes, A Nevada General Partnership, made an offer of dedication, for Lot R, including the underlying fee, on the West Valley Village - Unit 2 final map.  On March 6, 2007 the County of El Dorado Board of Supervisors, approved said map, but rejected said offer for Lot R.  Despite rejection, the offer is open in perpetuity and runs with the land.  The subject property is identified as Assessor's Parcel Number 118-210-01 and is partially located on Latrobe Road, in El Dorado Hills.  Said portion of Lot R is more particularly described in Exhibit A and depicted in Exhibit B, which are attached to the Resolution accepting a portion of said rejected offer.  Said action is necessary in order to make the current road right of way on Latrobe Road more uniform in width.

The Department of Transportation's staff has reviewed said offer and recommends that the Board adopt and authorize the Chairman to sign the Resolution accepting a portion of said rejected offer, at this time. Authorization for recording said offer is pursuant to Government Code Section 7050.

Action to be taken following Board approval:
1. Said Resolution and Exhibits will be recorded.
2. Copies of the recorded Resolution and Exhibits will be sent to the property owner.
3. A certificate of correction, modification or amendment may be recorded by the Surveyor's office.
