Fiscal Impact/Change to Net County Cost: None. This is an annual contract for education services that the Sheriff includes in the general fund budget.
Background: Per Title 15, Section 1061 of the California Administrative Code, the Sheriff has been contracting with the El Dorado Union High School District to furnish personnel and services necessary to provide a jail inmate education program.
Reason for Recommendation: The previous agreement for these services expired on March 25, 2009.
Action to be taken following Board approval: The Chairman will sign the Agreement.
